Basile Chartier

Originally from Paris, Basile brings a cross-disciplinary background in international affairs, real estate, and cultural entrepreneurship to his work with Tungsten, where he focuses on business development for the firm’s creative and innovation-driven clients—including tech startups, fashion labels, and art galleries.

Before joining Tungsten, he founded the clothing brand Bacha and managed a portfolio of residential and commercial properties in Paris. He holds an LL.M. from City University of Hong Kong and a Ph.D. from Sorbonne Law School, with a focus on international law. His interest in cities, sustainability, and cultural innovation informs his approach to connecting companies with spaces that reflect their identity and support their growth.

Now based in New York, Basile enjoys cycling, sailing, and exploring how design, community, and entrepreneurship intersect in the urban landscape.
