Robert Labunski got his start in real estate as a young investor, with the purchase of his first investment property in Florida in 1998. Wanting to learn more about real estate investing, Robert joined a boutique firm in Tribeca and soon sold a raw loft to an architect. That project fueled a lifelong passion for finding the best properties for his clients.
Prior to working in real estate, Robert designed and built sets for movies and commercials. His work in the film industry was always a team effort that required an eye for detail, great communication skills, and an understanding of the whole picture. Real estate helped merge these skills with his love for architecture and the satisfaction of helping his clients find unique properties that double as great investments.
With an in-depth knowledge of lofts, penthouses, apartments, houses, and condominium conversions, in addition to management of rental apartments and investment properties, many of Roberts clients rely on his advice well past the initial purchase to expand their real estate holdings.
Moreover, Robert served for many years as the president of his co-op, tackling major renovations that required navigating the Historic Preservation Board approval process; working with the beautification committee to improve the entire block; and redesigning the buildings backyard to incorporate a more user-friendly design. It is with this same passion, that he tackles each search, relying not only on the vast database of properties on the market but also keeping in touch with his contacts and knowing about properties before they are available to the general market.
In the words of one of his clients: Robert values people first and foremost, leading with a passionate focus on the task at hand, until finding a home that fits your needs and desires.
