Hudson Square is bound by the Hudson River to the west, Sixth Avenue (Avenue of the Americas) to the east, West Houston Street to the north, and Canal Street to the south. Situated in Lower Manhattan, Hudson Square is one of New York City?s burgeoning business districts. During the 19th century, the neighborhood was known as Manhattan?s printing district. A century later, Hudson Square became the choice district for creative, media, and graphic arts industries. Today, major corporations such as New York Magazine, MTV, the Audubon Society, Viacom, The Guggenheim Foundation CBS, and Saatchi & Saatchi call the district home. Additionally, many startups and technology incubators have set up shop in the area.
