    The Upper West Side, is conveniently located with easy access to the rest of Manhattan, the Bronx and Brooklyn. For quick access to these areas via the subway, you can head to one of 10 stations located across the Upper West Side, and take the 1, 2, 3, (red line) or A, C, (blue line) or B, D (orange line) these lines offer direct connections to the exciting areas south and east of the Upper West Side including: Midtown West, Midtown East, Herald Square, Bryant Park, Rockerfeller Center, Broadway Theaters, Columbus Circle, Central Park and Roosevelt Island.

    To the north and east, it is a quick and convenient trip up to Columbia University, Morningside Heights, Harlem, Yankee Stadium and Queens. Farther south and east, the subway lines of A,C,B,D, can take you to the World Trade Center and Financial District, Brooklyn’s Williamsburg, Greenpoint and Park Slope neighborhoods.

    Residents of the Upper West Side, enjoy quick access to both work and play. From the heart of the Upper West Side, at 86th street, it only takes 6 minutes to reach Columbus Circle and Central Park, 11 minutes to reach 42nd Street, Bryant Park, and Midtown, 18 minutes to Union Square and 20 minutes to Fulton Street.

    This highly walkable neighborhood offers a range of convenient amenities, including three Equinox Gyms, located at 76th & Amsterdam Avenue, 92nd & Broadway or in the Time Warner Building at Columbus Circle. Also conveniently located within walking distance are the food store destinations of Whole Foods Market (100th & Columbus and 58th & Broadway), Fairway Market (74th & Broadway), Citarella (75th & Broadway) and Trader Joe’s (72nd & Broadway). A short subway ride will take you to the Farmer’s Market Greenmarket in Union Square, among other prime shopping destinations in the area.

    The Upper West Side, is also home to a plethora of cultural institutions and offer something for everyone, including Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, The Natural History Museum, Museum of Arts and Design, Children’s Museum of Manhattan and The Cloisters Museum and Gardens.
